Terms of Service

1. Who I am

DWE CR Consulting ("the practice", "I", "me") is the personal land stewardship and regenerative development practice of Gregorio von Hildebrand, operating through Dear Wise Earth Costa Rica SRL ("the company"), a Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada registered in Costa Rica. Where these Terms refer to "the practice", they refer to both the practice and the company as the contracting party.

By booking a call, engaging a service, or completing a purchase through this site, you accept these Terms.

2. The services

The practice offers four progressive engagement tiers, each described at the homepage:

• Step A · Land Pre-Brief. A remote desk review delivered as a three-page strategic brief, with intake and walkthrough calls.
• Step B · Land Read. An on-site reading of the property, delivered as a Go/No-Go Memo and an Opportunity Map.
• Step C · Development Path Memo. A 15-day diagnostic and roadmap, written to one of three frames (Recapitalization Story, Development Pathway, or Feasibility & Vision).
• Step D · Fractional Steward. Embedded ongoing stewardship of the project, with a 3–6 month minimum.

Each engagement is delivered personally by Gregorio von Hildebrand. Specialists from a curated network may be brought in when a project calls for it, billed at cost with prior approval.

The scope of any engagement is defined by the specific deliverables listed for that tier. Anything outside that scope is a separate engagement, agreed in writing.

3. Payment

Payments for the Land Pre-Brief (Step A) are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates ("Paddle"), which acts as the merchant of record. By completing a purchase, you also accept Paddle's Buyer Terms and Privacy Notice.

Prices are listed in US dollars. Where on-site travel is required (Step B onwards), travel costs are billed separately, at cost, with prior approval.

For engagements at Step B and above, payment terms are set out in a written engagement letter signed at the start of work.

4. Deliverables and intellectual property

Documents, analyses, and other written deliverables produced during an engagement are licensed to you for use in your project, indefinitely. You may share them with your team, partners, investors, and counsel as needed.

The practice retains the right to reference engagements in anonymized form (for case studies, talks, or written work), with all identifying client, property, and project details held in strict confidence unless explicitly cleared for publication in writing.

5. Confidentiality

All information shared with the practice during an engagement is held in strict confidence. The practice does not name clients, properties, or project details publicly without explicit written permission.

6. Limitations of liability

The practice provides strategic counsel based on professional judgment, observed conditions, and the best information reasonably available at the time of the engagement. Recommendations are not guarantees of outcome. Decisions on whether and how to act on the practice's counsel rest with you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the practice's total liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

The practice does not provide legal, tax, accounting, engineering, or licensed environmental advice. Where such advice is required, the practice will recommend qualified counsel.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are described in the Refund Policy.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, where Dear Wise Earth Costa Rica SRL is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

Disputes that cannot be resolved through good-faith conversation will be addressed first through mediation, and only thereafter through the competent courts of San José, Costa Rica.

9. Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes that affect active engagements will be communicated in writing to clients with whom the practice has an open engagement.
