Refund Policy

1. The principle

The Land Pre-Brief exists so you can take a small, honest first step. If that step doesn't serve you, you should be able to walk away cleanly. This policy is written to make that possible.

2. Land Pre-Brief (Step A) · $1,500

• Before the intake call: full refund, no questions asked.
• After the intake call, before the brief is delivered: 50% refund. The remaining 50% covers the research and the time already invested.
• Within 14 days of brief delivery, satisfaction guarantee: if the work doesn't serve you, write to me and the full $1,500 is refunded. You keep the brief.
• After 14 days of delivery: refunds are at the practice's discretion, considered case by case.

3. Land Read (Step B), Development Path Memo (Step C), Fractional Steward (Step D)

Refund terms for these tiers are set out in the engagement letter signed at the start of work. As a general principle: refunds are proportional to work not yet undertaken.

Where on-site work has begun and travel has already been booked, travel costs already incurred (flights, lodging, ground transport) are non-refundable.

4. How refunds are processed

Refunds for purchases made through this site are processed by Paddle, the merchant of record. Funds typically return to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, though the timing can vary by card issuer or bank.

To request a refund, write to connect@dearwise.earth with your purchase confirmation. The practice will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and, where the refund is approved, instruct Paddle to issue it promptly.

5. Chargebacks

If you have a concern about a purchase, please write first. Most things can be resolved quickly between us. Filing a chargeback before reaching out closes the door to that conversation and triggers fees that don't help either of us.

6. Statutory rights

Where consumer protection law in your jurisdiction grants you stronger refund rights than those described here (for example, the EU's 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases), those rights apply in full and are not diminished by this policy.
